Playing STACKD
How do I uncover words?
Tap a tile to cycle its letters. Trace a themed word through adjacent tiles, moving right or down and turning corners as needed. Release to check the word. Solved letters disappear, revealing the layers beneath.
How do hints work?
Each regular puzzle includes assistance for two words. Each word assist has three steps. Returning to a word you’ve already assisted doesn’t use another assist. Resetting the puzzle does not refill assists.
Can I save a puzzle for later?
Use the bookmark to set aside up to three puzzles. Open My puzzles to return to unfinished puzzles or revisit those you’ve completed.
Where is my progress saved?
Progress is saved on your device. STACKD currently has no player account or cross-device sync. Deleting the app can remove your progress, so contact us before reinstalling to troubleshoot.
Can I change the appearance or controls?
Open Options for light or dark appearance, sound settings, and tap-to-compose controls. The game also responds to your device’s Reduce Motion setting.
