Privacy policy

Who we are
STACKD and dnygames.com are operated by Daniel Sherman, operating as DNY Games. Contact us at dnygamesmke@gmail.com for support or privacy questions.
Your game progress
STACKD stores puzzle progress, hints, achievements, ad-frequency counters and preferences on your device. No player account is required. DNY Games does not operate a server that receives your puzzle answers or progress. Apple device backups may include local data according to your settings. Deleting the app removes its local data; copies in backups are managed through Apple.
Advertising
STACKD integrates Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform. The beta uses test ads between puzzles. Test ads still connect to Google services. Our current configuration requests nonpersonalized ads and does not request permission to access Apple's advertising identifier. Nonpersonalized ads can still use information to deliver ads, measure performance, limit frequency and prevent fraud.
Google's services may process IP addresses (including approximate location derived from them), app/device identifiers, ad impressions and interactions, and diagnostic/performance information. Google handles this information for advertising, measurement, service improvement and fraud prevention, and may share it with service providers or advertising partners under its policies. Where required, a privacy message asks for your choices before ads are requested. When available, open Options → Privacy choices to review or change them. If ads cannot be requested or loaded, you can continue playing. We do not add a separate analytics SDK, player account system or mediation SDK to the app.
Website
Cloudflare Pages hosts dnygames.com. Cloudflare processes technical request information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps and browser information to deliver and protect the website. We do not add advertising or analytics scripts to the website. Cloudflare may use security-related technologies as part of its service. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Email support
If you email dnygamesmke@gmail.com, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use Gmail to receive and manage support correspondence. Please avoid sending sensitive information or screenshots containing unrelated personal information.
We use these messages to respond to you and resolve issues. Resolved support messages are deleted within 12 months unless needed for an ongoing issue or a legal obligation. You may request earlier deletion by emailing us. Service-provider backups and retention practices may differ from our mailbox retention.
TestFlight
If you participate through Apple TestFlight, Apple may provide us with testing information, crash reports and feedback that you submit. Apple handles TestFlight information under its own terms and privacy policy. See Apple's privacy policy.
Your choices and requests
You can contact us to request access, correction or deletion of support information we hold about you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to object to or restrict processing or to complain to a data protection authority. We may need to verify a request before fulfilling it. For information held independently by Apple, Google or Cloudflare, their privacy policies describe their controls and request procedures. Provider retention and international processing are governed by those policies; DNY Games cannot directly delete all provider-held records.
Children
STACKD is designed for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can investigate and address it.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change, including before activating a materially different advertising configuration. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest update.
